Policies & Etiquette
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICIES
You must give 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your float appointment. Should you cancel within the 24-hour window, you will be charged a flat fee of $25. A “no show” appointment will be charged the full price of the appointment. If multiple bookings are held under the same credit card all canceled or no show appointments will be made on that one card. Active floats on your account will be used instead if available. Rescheduling a float appointment can be done without penalty within the 24-hour window.

ARRIVAL TIMES
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment. This gives us ample time to process your payment, complete our waivers and allow us time to show you how everything works.
Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to accommodate late arrivals if there is no potential risk of disturbing other clients, however we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment to another time/day.
REFUND POLICIES
If you are unhappy with any of our services at Float House, please let us know. We will make it right!
For services received, please let us know of any problems within 7 days; for retail products purchased, within 30 days. We will provide rebooking, exchange, service credit, or refund according to the problem (at our discretion).
Returns are accepted on unopened products. Opened products may be returned for account credit.
Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
Membership floats are non-refundable.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICIES
Memberships can only be cancelled in writing or in-person. Membership cancellations cannot be done over the phone. Any unused floats on your account assume a 3-month expiry (Banking Membership) and 1-month expiry (Non-Banking Membership) date from the date of cancellation.
A written membership cancellation request must be received at least 1-month in advance of your next billing cycle (example: if you are scheduled to be charged February 14th and you want to cancel for the month of February, you must submit your cancellation request by January 14th.).
ETIQUETTE
New clients should arrive 15 minutes early and returning clients should arrive at least 5 minutes early. Because a late arrival can negatively impact another persons experience in an adjacent room, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule an appointment.
Please respect our quiet space and try not to speak too loudly while in the lounge or reception area.
Disconnecting from mobile devices is actually a wonderful thing to do! We endorse this practice while in our centres.
Brightly coloured non-permanent hair dye is not allowed in our tanks unless a swim cap is used (provided). Hair dye can stain our white float tanks and often requires draining, sanding and polishing procedures to repair. Permanent (natural coloured) hair dye is fine and won’t be an issue.
Contamination of our water is a serious offence and carries a financial penalty of $1000. This represents the costs of shutdown and replacement of the solution. Essential oils, soap, hair dye and bodily fluids are strictly prohibited.
Float House offers a scent free space and we kindly ask all clients to refrain from using essential oils and perfume/cologne in the float rooms.
